Usually, I don’t like to complain, but this time I have to share what I experienced in this hotel. I don’t think this hotel is worth such a high rate.
First of all, the staff treats guest like a fool. When I came back to my room, I smelled the cigarettes in the corridor(especially in front of my room and the room next to mine)and I asked the cleaning staff (who was standing there)whether someone smoked in this non-smoking floor. But this staff said it was just the smell of perfume. How cannot a human being distinguish the smell of cigarettes and perfume? The I asked the front desk to check out this issue. However, I waited 2 hours but no one replied. And then I had to call the front desk again, the room-reservation manager said they found out that the guest next to my room did smoke.
I don’t understand why the cleaning staff lied in the beginning and the manager didn’t reply until the guest called again.
Secondly, the cleaning is not thorough at all. Look at the bathtub. It is full of muddy water. And the mug cup is full of ashes or scratches. Also, the staff didn’t refill the amenities on the second day. And even just left the leftover bottle water there.
Thirdly, the hygiene of breakfast is worrisome. The watermelon tasted like already rotten. But the restaurant manager said it was just this kind of taste. Obviously, both cleanings staff and restaurant managers don’t listen to what the customers say but stick to what they feel. Also, you can see flies on bread and fruits in the restaurant.
There are also other issues the hotel can improve, such as the motivation of receptionist for breakfast.
